Day of Prayer

As we look to the new year and look forward to embracing God’s plans for us here at LHHPC, the elders of our church are calling all of us to a time of focused prayer (and fasting for those who are willing and able). Please set aside some time during Saturday, November 6th to pray for God to prepare our hearts for the season of Thanksgiving and Advent that is in front of us as well as to align our plans with His plans for us in 2022. Prayer guides will be available to help guide our prayers during the day, and part of our focus will be to ask for God’s provision for our La Habra Hills family in 2022. In November, we will be conducting our stewardship drive and our nominating committee is seeking new leaders for the year ahead, so we will be asking for God’s provision – not only financially but also to raise up leaders for the years ahead of us. There is no schedule to sign up on … we are just asking everyone in our La Habra Hills family to set aside time during the day or night of the 6th to pray. We encourage you to take at least 30 minutes, but there is no magical time frame, just that we pause to give thanks to our generous God and to seek God’s guidance and provision.
